The Brave Lion (77) - Wei Chi-Wan, Wei Tze Yung. The action takes place during WW2 in a labor/logging camp. (B-)

The Crippled Masters (79) - Jackie Conn, Frankie Shum, directed by Joe Law. Two men are disfigured by their evil leader. One man has his arms cut off, the other has his legs burned up with acid. The two men are enemies but both are struggling with being disabled. One day while fighting with each other, they meet a wise old Yoga master who suggests they work together. They start training with weights and weapons, and then team up with the help of a shoulder harness so the man without use of his legs can be the arms for the other man (and vice versa). They start kicking some butt and go back after the evil leader to teach him a lesson! One of the best. Letterbox. (B+)

Fighting Life (81) - Jackie Conn, Frankie Shum. Kind of a follow up to The Crippled Masters, the same two guys (one with no arms, one with small non working legs) play brothers in this one. It has a modern day story about one brother training for a Kung Fu competition while they struggle against prejudice and crooks. (B)

Karate, Fists, And Beans (73) - Dean Reed, Fernando Sancho, Cris Huerta, Iwao Yoshioka, Sal Borgese, directed by Tonino Ricci. Comedy Western/Karate mix that has Dean Reed and Chris Huerta joined by a Japanese chef/karate expert to go against a gang. Letterboxed. (C-)

Kung Fu Brothers In The Wild West (73) - William Berger, Jason Pai Piao, Po Chih Leo, Sally Leh, Donald O'Brien, Thompson Kao Kang. The title pretty much says it all! Two brothers from China end up in America. They have a 'martial arts studio' set up in town (in what must have been the first mall karate school!) and have to deal with the racist locals and a man from their past. More Kung Fu action in it than most of the other Western/Kung Fu hybrids. (D+ a little grainy and has a bit of static sometimes)

Kung Fu Contra As Bonecas aka Bruce Lee Vs. Gay Power (75) - Adriano Stuart, Dionisio Azevedo, Mauricio do Valle. Note: Not in English, no English subtitles. Story of Kung Fu master seeking revenge (when he's not wandering the desert) on a gang of homosexual bandits who killed his parents! (A-B+, has logo in corner)

The Lost Kung Fu Secrets (80) - David Chiang (Chaing Da Wei), Hsu Fong. Our hero (David Chiang) has to stop a power hungry Warlord. Plenty of fighting and weapons. (B-)

Return Of The Kung Fu Dragon (76) - Polly Kuan, Sing Chen, Tao Chen, Chen Wen Ho, Chang Li, Ma Li Chu. An evil pirate takes over a island town. (B-)

Spirits Of Bruce Lee (79) - Michael Chan (Chang Chen-Wai). Story of a man investigating the murder of his brother. (B-)
