A Black Veil For Lisa (68) - John Mills, Luciana Paluzzi, Robert Hoffmann, directed by Massimo Dallamano. John Mills plays a police inspector who believes his wife (Luciana Paluzzi) is cheating on him. Instead of getting a divorce, he hires a hitman to kill her! Things don't go as planned though. (B-C)

Amuck (72) - Rosalba Neri, Barbara Bouchet, Farley Granger, directed by Silvio Amadio. First things first: Rosalba Neri and Barbara Bouchet in the same movie! Yeah it wasn't the only time, but this is the only time where they share screen time throughout the whole movie. Reason enough to see it! Ok, back to earth. The story: After her friend disappears, Greta (Barbara Bouchet) comes up with a plan to go undercover as a live-in secretary for writer Richard Stuart (Farley Granger). The friend was last seen alive while working for Stuart so she needs a way to get into his house and do some snooping. After she gets there, she finds herself surrounded by eccentric local characters and wild parties thrown by Stuart and his wife Eleanora (Rosalba Neri). Their villa is located in an isolated area next to marshlands and director Silvio Amadio puts the Venice locations to good use creating a creepy atmosphere. Highly recommended. (A-)

Deadly Inheritance (68) - Tom Drake, Femi Benussi, Valeria Ciangottini, Giovanna Lenzi. Thriller about a rich man's murder and the members of his family under suspicion. (B)

The Deadly Triangle (73) - Erika Blanc, Vicente Parra, Agata Lys, directed by Joaquín Luis Romero Marchent. Erika Blanc plays a rich woman who owns a company run by her husband. They are stuck in a loveless marriage, she is carring on an affair with a co-worker while her husband is trying to bump her off. He's having trouble getting the job done though, he has a bad ticker and has a heart attack every time he tries to kill her! Letterboxed. (B+)

Death Carries A Cane aka Tormentor (72) - Nieves Navarro (Susan Scott), Robert Hoffmann, George Martin, Sal Borgese, Simon Andreu, Anuska Borova. Nieves Navarro plays a photographer who witnesses a girl being murdered by a black gloved razor wielding killer. After going to the police, she and her boyfriend discover there's been a series of dancers who have been killed by the same person. (B)

Death In Haiti (72) - Anthony Steffen, Anita Strindberg, Gabriele Tinti, Kathryn Witt. Anthony Steffen plays an idealistic Doctor/Biologist living in Haiti who has developed a serum that several parties are trying to get their hands on. An old friend named Fred (Gabriele Tinti) and his wife Grace (Anita Strindberg) show up on the island, and Fred is hoping he can get the formula from Dr. Williams. Meanwhile, Dr. Williams assistants have gone missing or dead and others in the hunt for the formula are being bumped off. Throw in some voodoo and hallucination scenes and it makes for a unique Giallo. Letterboxed. (A-B+)

Death Knocks Twice (69) - Fabio Testi, Anita Ekberg, Dean Reed, Adolfo Celi, Femi Benussi, Mario Brega. Dean Reed investigates a murder that seems to lead back to a womanizing painter (Fabio Testi). (B-C)

Death Steps In The Dark (77) - Leonard Mann, Robert Webber, Vera Krouska. Leonard Mann plays a photographer who is framed for a murder that happens on a train. (B)

The Devil With Seven Faces (71) - Carroll Baker, George Hilton, Stephen Boyd, Lucretia Love. Some jewel thieves are after Carroll Baker because they think she is her twin sister who was involved in a diamond theft. Letterboxed. (B+)

The Double (71) - Jean Sorel, Ewa Aulin, Giacomo Rossi-Stuart, Marilu Tolo, Lucia Bosé. Jean Sorel plays a wealthy playboy type who gets caught up in a love triangle involving his younger girlfriend (Ewa Aulin) and her mother with deadly results. Letterboxed. (B-)

The Etruscan Kills Again (72) - Alex Cord, Samantha Eggar, John Marley, Horst Frank, directed by Armando Crispino. After an ancient Etruscan tomb is unearthed, people involved with the dig start getting murdered. Could it be the Etruscan has risen for his revenge?! Very suspenseful and recommended, specially if you like Mummy movies. (A-)

Eye In The Labyrinth (72) - Rosemary Dexter, Adolfo Celi, Sybil Danning, Alida Valli, Horst Frank. After a psychologist goes missing, a woman (Rosemary Dexter) who was involved with the doctor follows a lead and heads to a retreat town. Bodies start dropping soon after, but who is responsible? Letterboxed. (B+)

Footprints (75) aka Primal Impulse - Florinda Bolkan, Klaus Kinksi, Ida Galli. This is more of a Mystery/Thriller with Sci-Fi elements, no black gloved killers in this one. Florinda Bolkan plays a woman suffering from memory loss and recurring dreams involving scientists and the moon. She sets out to find a hotel she has a photo of in hopes of making sense of what's happened to her. Quite a unique and surreal movie. (B+)

The Fourth Victim (71) - Carroll Baker, Michael Craig, Miranda Campa, Marina Malfatti, directed by Eugenio Martin. After a man's wife is found dead in their pool under suspicious circumstances, a mysterious lady (Carroll Baker) shows up poking around for information. (B+)

The Girl In Room 2a (73) - Daniela Giordano, Raf Vallone, Rosalba Neri, Karin Schubert, Brad Harris. Daniela Giordano plays a woman recently released from prison. She moves into a house run by a strange old woman and her son. After finding blood stains in her room she discovers the house has been used to supply victims to a blood thirsty cult. (B)

Giallo A Venezia (79) - Jeff Blynn, Vassili Karis, Leonora Fani, Gianni Dei, Maria Angela Giordan. Note: In Italian with no English subtitles. Notorious, violent Giallo about a police inspector (Jeff Blynn) investigating a string of murders in Venice. Be warned, there's a lot of violence and rape. Crotch stabbings, people set on fire, legs sawed off, torso in the fridge, etc. Not a happy movie! (C+, audio is a bit loud so it has a little distortion)

The Glass Ceiling (71) - Emma Cohen, Patty Shepard, Carmen Sevilla, Hugo Blanco. After her husband leaves on a trip, a woman (Carmen Sevilla) becomes suspicious of noises coming from her upstairs neighbor's apartment. (B-)

Icy Breasts (74) - Alain Delon, Nicoletta Machiavelli, Claude Brasseur, Mireille Darc. Mystery/Thriller about a man who falls in love with a mysterious woman who might or might not be a killer. (C+)

Iguana With The Tongue Of Fire (71) - Anton Diffring, Dagmar Lassander, Luigi Pistilli, directed by Riccardo Freda. A razor slashing killer who throws acid in the victims faces is on the loose in Ireland. It's up to a Detective (Luigi Pistilli) to stop the killer. Pretty mean spirited movie. (C, has some bright contrast problems sometimes)

In The Eye Of The Hurricane (71) - Jean Sorel, Analia Gade, Rosanna Yanni, Tony Kendall, Maurizio Bonuglia. A newly separated woman takes a vacation with her new love interest Paul (Jean Sorel). The woman starts to fear for her life after there are several 'accidents' that appear to be attempts to kill her. Could it be her husband, or Paul's strange pal who has shown up? (A-)

In The Folds Of The Flesh (70) - Pier Angeli, Fernando Sancho, Victor Alcazar, Eleonora Rossi Drago. Tale of a twisted family with a history of murder and secrets. Lots of strangeness thrown in, everything from Nazis to decapitations. (B)

The Killer Is On The Phone (72) - Telly Savalas, Anne Heywood, Rossella Falk, directed by Alberto De Martino. A killer (Savalas) needs to eliminate the amnesiac wife of a man he murdered to cover his tracks. (B-C+)

The Killer Reserved Nine Seats (74) - Rosanna Schiaffino, Lucretia Love, Janet Agren, Chris Avram, Howard Ross. A group of people are gathered together in an old abandoned theater and are bumped off one by one. (C pic is soft)

The Killer With A Thousand Eyes (74) - Anthony Steffen, Eduardo Fajardo, Raf Baldassarre, Julian Ugarte, Maria Kosty, directed by Juan Bosch. A British agent is strangled by a mysterious killer while he is working on busting drug dealers in Lisbon. Anthony Steffen plays a fellow British narcotics agent sent over to investigate the murder. It doesn't take long before the killings continue. (C)

The Killer Wore Gloves (74) - Gillian Hills, Silvia Solar, Orchidea de Santis, Manuel Gas, directed by Juan Bosch. A woman's boyfriend goes missing and people start turning up dead during her search. (B-C)

The Lonely Violent Beach (71) - Robert Hoffmann, Mara Maryl, Riccardo Salvino, directed by Ernesto Gastaldi. Crime Thriller about a man and his (frigid) wife who are attacked and terrorized by a gang of bikers while staying at a beach house. Letterboxed. (A-)

The Man With The Icy Eyes (71) - Antonio Sabato, Barbara Bouchet, Faith Domergue, Keenan Wynn, Victor Buono. Antonio Sabato plays a newpaper writer in Albuquerque investigating the assassination of a Senator. (B-C+)

Marta (71) - Marisa Mell, Stephen Boyd, Jesus Puente, Howard Ross. Stephen Boyd plays a homicidal wackjob..After his wife goes missing, her look alike sister (Marisa Mell) shows up to investigate. (C- a timer is onscreen throughout the film, print is soft, has some twitches and glitches)

The Masters (75) - Jennifer O'Neil, Franco Nero, James Mason. People start turning up dead after a school teacher (Jennifer O'Neil) comes to town. Is she being framed, or is she responsible for the crimes? (B-C+)

Naked Girl Killed In The Park (72) - Robert Hoffmann, Adolfo Celi, Pilar Velazquez, Philippe Leroy, Teresa Gimpera, Howard Ross, directed by Alfonso Brescia. A rich man is found murdered on an amusement park ride shortly after he had taken out a huge life insurance policy. Suspicions fall on the family and the insurance company sends an investigator in to dig for information. (B+)

The Perfect Crime (78) - Leonard Mann, Joseph Cotten, Adolfo Celi, Janet Agren, Alida Valli, Tom Felleghy. Mystery set in England about company big wigs who are dying under mysterious circumstances after the president of the corporation is killed in an airplane bombing. (B)

Puzzle (74) - Senta Berger, Luc Merenda, Anita Strindberg, Bruno Corazzari, directed by Duccio Tessari. Luc Merenda is a man with amnesia (this seems to be a reoccurring theme!)..After being attacked, he is forced to go on the run. While he doesn't remember his past, everyone else knows him as a dirty dealer. Letterboxed. (B-)

The Red Light Girls (74) - Krista Nell, Orchidea de Santis, Magda Konopka, Andrea Scotti, Maria Fiore. The police investigate a series of prostitute murders. Several subplots including a photographer running an extortion scheme and a 'dirty old man' type voyeur are thrown in the mix. Letterboxed. (C or C- night scenes are on the dark side)

Reflections In Black (75) - John Richardson, Dagmar Lassander, Daniela Giordano, Giacomo Rossi-Stuart, Magda Konopka. An Inspector investigates a series of murders of young women who were all connected by a friendship. (B+)

Rings Of Fear (78) - Fabio Testi, Jack Taylor, Christine Kaufmann, Silvia Aguilar, Fausta Avelli. Police Inspector Di Salvo (Fabio Testi) investigates the murder of a teenage schoolgirl. (B)

Seagull Island (80) - Jeremy Brett, Gabriele Tinti, Sherry Buchanan, Prunella Ransome, Vassili Karis. After a woman's blind sister disappears, she discovers a series of blind women have been murdered and found in the ocean. She starts to investigate a connection to the murders and a mysterious man (Jeremy Brett) who lives on a private island. (B)

Sexy Cat (73) - German Cobos, Lone Fleming, Monika Kolpek, Dyanik Zurakowska, Vidal Molina. Spanish Thriller about a popular fictional comic 'Sexy Cat' that is being made into a series of movies. The actual creator of the comic book character is angry because he feels the producer took his idea and ripped him off. As filming begins, people start getting bumped off. Could it be Sexy Cat herself doing the killings?! Slightly letterboxed. (C or C- print is faded)

Shadow Of Death (69) - Giacomo Rossi-Stuart, Teresa Gimpera, Larry Ward. A woman having an affair develops a scheme to get rid of her husband by driving him crazy. (B+)

Smile Before Death (72) - Rosalba Neri, Jenny Tamburi, Silvano Tranquilli. A woman is found in a room with her throat cut. At first it is though of as a suicide, but soon it turns into a murder case. (B)

Something's Creeping In The Dark (71) - Farley Granger, Giacomo Rossi-Stuart, Lucia Bose, Stelvio Rosi, Mia Genberg. A group of people are stuck spending the night in a 'haunted house'. (C)

The Student Connection (73) - Ray Milland, Sylva Koscina, Charly Bravo, directed by Rafael Romero Marchent. Ray Milland plays Dr. Mann, the headmaster at a boarding school who is having an affair with the married mother (Sylva Koscina) of one of his students. The two come up with a plot to kill her husband so they can be together. But their plan hits a snag when it turns out there's a young witness to the Doctor's crimes. (C or C- print is soft)

The Sweet Body Of Deborah (68) - Carroll Baker, Jean Sorel, George Hilton, Ida Galli, Luigi Pistilli. Carrol Baker & Jean Sorel play newlyweds who are terrorized by an old friend who blames Jean for the death of his girlfriend. (B-)

Two Faces Of Fear (72) - George Hilton, Anita Strindberg, Fernando Rey, Luciana Paluzzi, Eduardo Fajardo, Carla Mancini. After a surgeon is shot, Inspector Nardi (Rey) investigates at a hospital to find out who had the biggest motive. The suspects include Dr. Rossi (George Hilton), his wife the hospital owner (Paluzzi), and his ex-flame Dr. Lombardi (Anita Strindberg). The movie incorporates extended footage of real open heart surgery too so be warned! Letterboxed. (C- for grainy/soft picture, vcr text appears at top of screen a few times)

Una Tomba Aperta...Una Barra Vuota (72) - Daniela Giordano, Jose Antonio Amor, Teresa Gimpera, Gioia Desideri, directed by Alfonso Balcazar. Note: In Italian, no English subtitles. A man remarries after his first wife dies an accidental death in their house. He is haunted by his first wife's passing, believing he might have had a hand in the accident. Soon after remarrying, people close to him start turning up dead. Has his first wife risen from the grave to exact revenge? Letterbox. (A-B+ tv logo in corner, title text scrolls by once or twice)

Who Killed The Prosecutor And Why? (72) - Lou Castel, Beba Loncar, Adolfo Celi, directed by Giuseppe Vari. Crime Thriller with Lou Castel as a photographer who witnesses a body being dumped in a staged death scene at the beach. He takes photos of the crime and sets out to make money from them through blackmail. (B)
