Even Angels Eat Beans (73) - Giuliano Gemma, Bud Spencer, Victor Israel, directed by Enzo Barboni. Gangster comedy that takes place during the late 20's/early 30's. Giuliano Gemma plays a worker with big dreams and Bud Spencer is a wrestler on the lam. One day they meet at a Salvation Army soup line and not long after, they stumble into working for the Mob. Gemma is hilarious as the 'in over his head' Sonny and he and Spencer make a great comedy team. Letterboxed with a few fullscreen scenes mixed in. (A)

Love In A Taxi (80) - Jim Jacobs, Diane Sommerfield, Earl Monroe, Malik Murray, Lisa Jane Persky. Comedy/Drama story of a Jewish taxi driver named Sam who gets involved with a divorced black mother and her son after giving the boy a ride home. The differences in their backgrounds are handled humorously, even a scene where she dresses Sam up in a dashiki and afro wig doesn't come off as purposely offensive. (C-D+ has some lines once in a while)

Madame Is Served aka La Padrona E Servita (76) - Senta Berger, Erika Blanc, Bruno Zanin, Maurizio Arena. Kind of a Comedy/Drama about a father and son both vying for Senta Berger's attention. Lee Van Cleef plays one of the outlaws sent after Fletcher. When he approaches him and tells him to draw, Fletcher refuses and tells Lee that he can tell by the look of his hands that all he wants is love and understanding! Show is just under an hour so trailers are also included. (B)

Walter Chiari plays Brother George, a monk who knows the secret recipe for the in demand liqueur his monastery manufactures as a source of income. After a dispute over the profits, Brother George disappears and turns up in Australia. He starts making the liqueur for local winery owner Alfredo Brazzi (Jack Albertson from Chico And The Man). When Women Had Tails (70) - Senta Berger, Giuliano Gemma, Frank Wolff. Wacky tale of a group of cavemen who discover a cavewoman (Filli, played by Senta Berger) living amongst them. The whole thing looks like a crazy prehistoric cartoon. Great sets and Ennio Morricone score. (B)
